INTERPHEX2006 To Spotlight Emerging Pharmaceutical Industry Leaders

Norwalk, CT - INTERPHEX2006, the world抯 largest and most comprehensive pharmaceutical conference and exhibition, announces that the first GenerationNext Awards ceremony will take place at 8:45am on March 21, 2006 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The GenerationNext Awards will discover tomorrow抯 pharmaceutical leaders today, just as they are beginning to make their mark on the pharmaceutical industry. Five of the pharmaceutical industry抯 most talented young technical professionals will be recognized for their achievements in technical, scientific, or regulatory areas within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Pharmaceutical industry professionals are invited to nominate colleagues, peers, or even themselves for this distinction until January 31, 2006.
揂ll too often, great minds are discovered long after the prime of their contributions,?said John Stuttard, Industry Vice President at Reed Exhibitions. 揥e want to foster the professional growth of these individuals, and let the industry know of their contributions to drug manufacturing. GenerationNext also gives pharmaceutical industry professionals an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of their peers.?P>
Nomination
As the aim of the awards program is to identify emerging leaders, GenerationNext has an age limit: nominees must not have reached their 36th birthday on December 31, 2005. Nominees may work in industry, academia, government, or non-profit organizations, anywhere in the world. They may deal with topics that include, but are not limited to, process development and engineering, unit-process development, quality control and assurance, analytical method development, drug delivery technology, information technology, facilities engineering, packaging, ingredient development, pharmaceutical manufacturing, analytical methods, education, and research.
Nominations may be submitted individually or by colleagues, and will consist of at least three parts: a) a simple nomination form, clearly naming the nominee and nominator, with contact information, b) the nominee抯 resume or curriculum vitae, and c) a description of the nominee抯 achievements that demonstrate the nominees ability to lead and innovate. This description should be no less than 500 words.
